Self employed people pay Class 2 National Insurance contributions throughout the year, in addition to the class 4 contributions at the year-end.
A common question people ask is what benefits do their Class 2 contributions count towards.

The normal due date for the payment of a 2013 tax liability is the 31st January 2014.
However, provided you have income that is taxed at source and the liability is below £3,000 then you can pay this through interest free instalments over 12 months
Assuming you don’t complete and file the 2013 tax return before the 31st January 2014 deadline, it will cost you:
