With the use of social media, some familiar terms have taken on new meanings.
One of these is following, you may think of leaders and followers but when it comes to social media this is simply a term to cover someone you are interested in.
I follow several business leaders online, by becoming a follower you are kept up to date with their posts and can then form your own opinions based on these.
It’s a similar situation with likes – you may not personally like their business, but want to keep up to date with what is happening.
I also follow people from different industries as well, regularly finding inspiration in their postings which can also be applied to the general business world.
