One of the most frequent queries I received was how to download the paper tax return form from HMRC, as people were unable to find this on their website.
In the past, I would be able to give them the web address of the page where they could download the form.
In 2023, HMRC initially withdrew the tax return form before reinstating it after complaints.
Sadly, for 2024 returns (covering the year 6th April 2023 to 5th April 2024) the tax return form is only available on request from HMRC.
This is likely to cause issues, as I have personally experienced delays on their helpline of 25-45 minutes.
People will have to either try the web chat or telephone, when the form was easily downloadable in past if you knew where to find it.
