You may have noticed this quote, one which I feel summarises exactly what is required to continue to be successful in business. It’s also been quoted by Dr Ivan Misner, the founder of BNI.
Markets and businesses are always changing and evolving, it’s not possible to expect to receive the same results in business by doing the same things as in the past so working smarter is the way forward.
I originally heard the quote from Gail Nott, who tells me that the full quote comes from William J.H. Boetcker:
“If you want to earn more – learn more. If you want to get more out of the world you must put more into the world. For, after all, (people) will get no more out of life than they put into it.”
